TMM is led by an experienced and energized management team with significant expertise in military move management and other segments of the relocation and storage industry.

Since the company’s inception in 2003, TMM has significantly expanded the management team to develop a platform to support the company’s rapid growth. Most recently, TMM has added highly skilled and experienced members to the management team to enhance business development and information technology capabilities, as well as support new business opportunities. This team has led strong revenue growth, including compound annual growth in excess of 40% since 2005 and accelerated growth through the economic downturn in 2008-2009.

Matt Connell
Prior to co-founding TMM, Mr. Connell worked with a national logistics company as Manager of Agency Development and was later promoted to Director of Business Development. Prior to entering the logistics industry, he was a sales representative with Cameron and Barkley, an industrial and electrical products distributor.
Mr. Connell has received the Jacksonville Business Ultimate CEO award, was selected as one of Jacksonville’s 40 Under 40, and is a two-time recipient of the Entrepreneur of the Year award from Ernst and Young. Mr. Connell currently serves on the Board of Directors of the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Jacksonville. Mr. Connell earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from Valdosta State University.
Kent Stermon

Prior to joining TMM, Mr. Stermon served as Corporate Controller of HADCO, an Atlanta-based distributor of specialty appliances. Before HADCO, he served as a Divisional Controller of a 350-million-dollar food menu manufacturer.
Mr. Stermon has received the Jacksonville Businessman CFO of the Year award and was also selected as one of Jacksonville’s 40 Under 40. He has served on the Board of Directors for the Northeast Florida Boys and Girls Club, Dreams Come True and the Fellowship of Christian Athletes. Mr. Stermon earned a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Finance from Georgia State University.
John Callihan
Prior to joining TMM, Mr. Callihan was the Chief Financial Officer for AMPORTS, Inc., an industry leader in North American automotive logistics services. Before AMPORTS, his work experience included senior positions in industries such as Transportation and Logistics, Insurance as well as Public Accounting.
Mr. Callihan attended Mercer University, earning degrees in both Accounting and Spanish. He was also a member of the Mercer baseball team and enjoyed a brief stint within the Los Angeles Dodgers minor league system prior to starting his financial career at Deloitte & Touche.
Rick Mason
Vice President Operations
Prior to joining TMM, Mr. Mason worked as a supervisor for MC of A, a ground transportation contractor. Prior to that, Mr. Mason worked for a national logistics company as an international dispatcher. Mr. Mason earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Administration, with a focus on Business Management and Transportation Logistics from the University of North Florida.
Leah Preston
Vice President Customer Support
Ms. Preston has over 13 years of experience in the logistics industry. Prior roles in TMM include serving as Manager of Customer Support as well as Move Coordinator. Before joining TMM, Ms. Preston worked for Merrill Lynch, a financial management and advisory services firm, as a 401(k) specialist. Ms. Preston earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management from The University of Tampa.
John Bedford
Vice President Information Technology
Mr. Bedford joined TMM in 2015 as a Director and was promoted to Vice President in 2018. He has more than 20 years of technology and enterprise leadership experience in various industries that include financial services, software development, sales, and support, and logistics. Mr. Bedford attended Columbia College and has held various certifications in technology, project management, and business continuity.
